Mayan Harvest Coffee was created to help transform the future of coffee-growing families throughout Bella Vista, Chiapas.
For decades, many small producers grew remarkable coffees but received little recognition for their quality. Their harvests often disappeared into anonymous commodity markets, where the unique character of each farm—and the people behind it—was lost.
Rosalba envisioned a different future.
She built Mayan Harvest to connect small producers directly with specialty coffee buyers who value transparency, traceability, and craftsmanship. Today, Mayan Harvest works alongside dozens of farming families who share one commitment: producing coffee worthy of being remembered.
Every shipment reflects more than exceptional quality.
It represents trust, family, and the belief that outstanding coffee begins with outstanding people.
Rooted In Family
Coffee Is Our Family Tradition
Coffee has been cultivated by the Roblero Cifuentes family for generations.
Rosalba’s uncles and cousins—including Eugenio, Froilan, Otoniel, and Omar—continue to farm their own small parcels in the mountains surrounding Bella Vista.
Each farm is carefully managed, averaging approximately five acres, where Bourbon, Caturra, Catimor, and other traditional Arabica varieties mature beneath shade trees in rich mineral soils.
These are not industrial farms.
They are family farms where every harvest reflects generations of knowledge, patience, and pride.
Today, many family members also play active roles within Mayan Harvest, helping oversee quality, processing, and purchasing throughout the harvest season.

Where Coffee Finds Its Character
Located in the highlands of southern Chiapas near the Guatemalan border, Bella Vista offers an extraordinary environment for growing specialty coffee.
Cool mountain temperatures, elevations around 1,550–1,650 meters, abundant rainfall, shade-grown cultivation, and mineral-rich clay soils allow coffee cherries to mature slowly, developing remarkable sweetness and complexity.
